Paint color for Trans and Bellhousing

I need to know what the factory color of the trans and bellhousing was for a 65 6 cylinder with the Dagenham 4 speed. My mechanic has it out while the motor is getting rebuilt and want to make sure it is back to the factory color.

The bell housing and transmission should both be natural, which means they were not painted from the factory. You can clean them to their original natural finish, or paint them in colors that match the original finish.
