I am interested to know how many K-Code Mustang owners belong to the club. If you have a K-Code Mustang, let me know and we can get together sometime.

Wanted to inquire about what peole are using for gas in thier K-Codes. Mine is a 66. Manual says to use 99 octane --> I have been buying premium at the pump and then adding octane booster when i fill it up. Seems to be working fine. Not sure if the octane booster is bad for engine. Also, if others have done ok with straight premium.

I'm about 2 years behind the original posts, but I have a K Coupe. Total plain jane, but original. (Except for the carb, which is a '68 I'm told is a correct replacement. 1.12 venturi's confirmed, but I didn't get down to the jets.) Original color was Honey Gold, but current color is black. The rest is good, though.

Andy, it was nice meeting you and your Mustang at the Manassas show last week. I hope you can make it to the next Show & Shine at Sheehy Ford!

Hi Wade,
Yes, it was nice to meet you at Morven Park last weekend. I think it's about time for me to put on the Cragars and take off the 14x5's and hubcaps, so I can "drive" it again!
I'll keep an eye on the calendar, and perhaps get to the next NCRMC event.

Hi,
I've been running 93 in my 10.6 CR engine for quite some time. It's all about, initial, dizzy vac, and total timing and their affect on your's engine's propensity towards pinging. I think you're wasting your money on octane booster. If anything, maybe a lead additive, if your valve seats have not been updated. Even the case for the lead additive can be argued, as well.
So, put your octane booster money toward the next "6 pack" or car parts.
