A co-worker of mine with a 94 GT convertible remarked that I had "ba-ls" driving my 2003 Mustang from Vienna to Bethesda in the snow this morning. Now I will admit, that a repeat performance is not likely and I had to question my decision making ability each time I went sideways...but I made it unscathed.

Traction Control enjoys a love hate relationship with me. Sometimes its keeps my butt on the road...other times, like today, it nearly put me in a ditch...so much of driving in the snow is momentum, and an anti-momentum device seems counterintuitive to me.

What experiences did you guys have today?

funny you should mention this about the traction control. I notice today that the system employed on even my 4WD was crap. I turn it off and it made a huge difference in control and traction. In traction control, the system kept dropping off the power when it should have allowed power to the front wheels to pull me out of a slide. POS. felt so much better in manual control!
