I'm going to have to head over there to take a look at that. I saw the one they had at the auto show this past January, and it wasn't that impressive. You could get a GT500 and turn it into a Super Snake for less than $182k!:eek::eek:

The website does not even show the correct car. The description says it is Black.

Their probably trying to find some "Knightrider" fanatic that wants a KR in Black. The new show starts this fall, maybe their doing some promo thing up there.

$182K for new KR? Come on, that's just greed -plain and simple. This is why car dealers get a bad reputation...That car will sit there for a year.
Personally, I think if a dealer really doesn't want to sell the car, then they should put a sign on it that says "not for sale"... I know Cowles is a sponsor of our next show, but they should be ashamed of themselves...plus anybody that pays $182K for a 2009 Mustang that's not gold plated and diamond encrusted should be ashamed too.

I went by this morning and didn't see it anywhere. I didn't have a lot of time so I left without talking to anyone about it. I am getting my oil changed later this week there so I'll try to find out where it is then.

One of the guys on Mustangcollective claims that $182K is a bargain since his dealership just sold one for $225K. Its just not worth it. Get the GT500 and make it a Super Snake like the one Rick from Springfield brought to the car show in January. That car had something like 900rwhp.

I thought the silly money had dried up. I could see KR #1 going for $225,000 at auction...maybe more if proceeds went to charity (like GT500 #1), but thats more than they were getting for Ford GT's...

I seem to remember the KR at Barrett-Jackson. I think thats silly money too, but for VIN 00001 and for charity I think its ok.
An $80K car with a $100K premium. I guess that sale makes the dealers month....
I know that every car I ever wanted that intially had a premium on the sales price could be had a year later at sticker or below. I think its folly for a dealer to gouge customers like that.
I know I wanted a GT500 when they first came out and I talked with the owner of a local Ford dealership. I know this guy and he wanted a $25K premium....now he's got them sitting on the lot. What goes around comes around. Including supply and demand.

Jerry's had one earlier for $175,000.00 and everybody knows he's on crack while pricing cars! Just got the KB on my car from Excessive. 460 at the rear, hope I don't kill myself, or worse yet, get a ticket coming down 66.

I believe the KR from Cowles Parkway Ford is still in the show room as will.

I went by the other day and there was a big SOLD sign on the KR. I think it went for about $150,000.00

Such a deal....is any late model Mustang (yeah, yeah GT500KR) worth $91,000?
You could buy 3 GT's, or 6 Foci (or is that Focuses?)....I think the whole idea of the original Shelby has been lost....look, I wanted an '05 Mustang GT and it was marked up $5 grand -, so I waited. Then I figured I'd spend a few dollars mores and get a GT500...marked up $15 grand - so I waited. NOW I have no desire for a either, I'll stick with my 7 year old Convertible, save $45K, and still be happy.

I understand where you are coming from. I did purchase a GT-500 with a 10,000 ADM and I have to say it was worth it. Best mustang I ever drove and I have owned a few over the years. It is a keeper!! and the bench mark that all other Mustang try to achive. There is nothing like driving a 5.4 supercharged vehicle! :)

Oh don't think there still aren't times when I think it might be worth parting with the coin for one of those monsters. But I have an adversion to spending over sticker for any car, because they always come back to earth.
