I was going to give them a call to see if I could insure a 2000 Mustang that is Garage kept and only taken out on weekends and shows (Yes I pull it out during the week sometimes). I figure it's worth a shot. They are closed for the Thanksgiving holiday.

I talked to Heacock Classic Car Insurance a few weeks ago. The Insurance rate is great and they do insure late model cars now that meet there criteria. The do have some requirements that you have to meet which is not a problem for me:

1. The car has to be driven less then 3000 miles.
2. The car has to be in a locked garage when not driven.
3. The car cannot be driven to work.
4. You have to take picture of your car and all the modification and you need to list them out as well.
5. You need pictures of the locked garage that the car is stored in.
6. You have to pay for a year in advance.

I was just wondering if anybody is using Heacock Classic Car Insurance currently for there car. If so, have they had good experience with them if they every had to use the Insurance?

Thanks for the clearification.
I seem to meet all those criteria. I'm going to give them a call since having it on my regular policy is very expensive for a primarily weekend driver.

I use this company for my 65 vert. The best selling feature for me was they use "agreed" as opposed to "stated" value for my car. Although I have filed no claims, they have been responsive to all of my other inquirys. I will likely insure my 69 Mach 1 with this company once I have it ready for the street.

Hope this helps and all the best!

Thanks for the feedback. I agree that it is good that is an "agreed" value and I can take the car to any body shop that I choose.
