With my 40th birthday quickly approaching I got the wife to agree to let me buy some goodies for mt 07 GT Auto. Here is what I was thinking, I have about $2K to spend. S/C will be too expensive and isn't an option. I like the sound of the stock exhaust so I am keeping it, unless I can find something that isnt much louder and reasonably priced that can add a few HP (suggestions encouraged). I use the car as a daily driver. I drive from Gaithersburg to Herndon about twice a week and the rest is local (95% of the time) Initial thoughts are:
1. CAI - JLT with XCAL 3
2. BBK Underdrive Pulley
3. Ford Racing 4.10 gears
Other upgrades I am considering are cosmetic -Agent 47 Mirrors and sequential tail lights.
Any feedback is appreciated.
Thanks,
JC

That all sounds great. You'll love the 4:10's. I have them in my 2006 and its a huge difference.:D

Your car a stick or Auto? I was told 4.10 might be a little too much and go with 3.73's.

I would go with 3.73 gears, Cold Air Intake, Underdrive Pulleys and a tune.

Good choice, going with the 4.10's. You'll be much happier, they rock! What are your HP / TQ numbers?

I would have went with 3.73 unless I was going to drag race the car.

270 HP 277 TQ on an 87 Tune.
Not sure if I should go with a 93 tune from Bamachips or Brenspeed next.

I will be!
I wanted to see peoples responses. Gas prices need to drop a little.

Chris does a great job tuning. He got my V6 to put out 209 rwhp with a just CAI and Exhaust (shorty headers back).

I ended up going (back) to a 91 octane tune from 93 because a lot of gas stations have 91 octane premium (as opposed to 93). Just my 2 cents...

Have you priced a turbo? More then 2K but cheaper then a SC.
