Anyone going to this Show?
This sounds pretty cool. I'd really like to see some of the cars from the Cowles Ford show this spring, again. Just sold my 2000 coupe and purchased a 66' again and would really like to talk to some of the 64'-66' owners.
Hope I can fit this one in.

Here is the info you requested:
The 2nd Annual "Mustang Round Up" Car Show is scheduled for Sunday 29 June 2008 (10am-3pm). Hoyt Sabo has opened up the used car lot this year to facilitate more room for your Mustangs, last year we had over 130 Mustangs in attendance in 2007.

Wow 130 Mustangs....
I'll have to check this show out.
I'm going to start getting my Mustang into better shape tomorrow.
In its' present state it is not quite as nice as my last 66 but if it were all done - it wouldn't be any fun :D
Hope to see ya there!

My previous update didn't include the location of the show. It will be at Kip Killmon Ford in Tysons Corner, Virginia.

The weather report is not looking good for this event. The weatherman is calling for rain on Sunday so I think I will skip this event.

In the two years I've been in this area, the only thing I've figured out is not to trust the weather forcasts. So far they're saying 30% chance of precip. I figure I'll look out the door on Sunday morning and if it looks ok, I'll go.

Agreed, the weatherman can be really off on the forcast and I wish for good weather for Sunday.

First time attending this show. If I'm not registered to be in the show, am I able to park within the lot or do I have to park somewhere else and walk it?

There is no pre-registration for this event. I would recommend getting there early before the parking lot is full. I would get there by 9:00 am.

For those who missed the show it was great. Not an overwhelming number of cars but quite a few nice Mustangs. I took my 10 year old son but we didn't bring the Mustang because I don't have any seat belts in it yet. There were alot of tricked out late model Mustangs from the 90's and early 2000's and a few nice mid 60's and 70's. I didn't stay for the whole show because I wanted to get back home to work on mine. I hope to see some of you at the Sheehy Ford show. Mine is a long way from done but really has brought me quite a bit of enjoyment so far. I'll get her up and runnin' for the show coming up. I've had the typical electrical issues to work out with respect to guages and ignition. Spruced up the interior a bit.
If I get there and back that will be something. It sat a long time before I got my hands on her.

Dan & I took both mustangs to this show and it was great! Great music, free food, nice raffle prizes and good company. Weather held off all day too. Nice job on this show. We will definitely be there next year.
