I am Danny Truitt, I have been a member of NCRMC for a few years now. I am not as active as I would like to be, but as most people I have a full time job, wife and 3 great boys.

I have owned Mustangs since the early 80's and in September of '05 completed a rotissorie restoration on my '68 GT, 390, 4 spd. car which I have owned since 1981. I have been awarded numerous GOLD awards at MCA National and Grand National shows. I also currently own a '68 GT convertible, 302, auto car and my most recent purchase is a '68 1/2 GT Coupe, 428 Cobra Jet, 4 spd. which I have started a restoration on. If you have any '68 NOS or Cobra Jet parts contact me I may be interested.

Most recently I have been working with Rick Markko of Carlisle Events putting together the Cobra Jet Reunion at this years All Ford Nationals. You need to put this one on the calender!!!! Enough for now!

I am glad to see the improved website and forums, it is already in my "favorites"

The All Ford Nationals is already on the calender, the first weekend of June. In addition to the Cobra Jet reunion I think they are also recognizing the SVO's and a couple other things.

As far as the Cobra Jet reunion I will share with you some of what I know now. 14 of the 50 pre-production Cobra Jets, know known as 135 cars will be there, including the Al Joniac WinterNational winner. Al Joniak and Hubert Platt will be there and may line up and race on Friday night. Hubert Platt's '69 Drag Council car, a '69 R-Code conv., a 68 1/2 CJ conv., Cougar 038 which was a press car thst was converted by the factory to a CJ and lots more.

See you there.

Danny
