Could anyone recommend a shop in the D.C. area that would be capable and willing to replace the driver side front floor pan and both floor supports on my 65 coupe? The front portion of the driver side floor pan was replaced years ago but the welder (not me) overlapped the old portion of the pan with the newer one which has led to a rust issue. The front floor supports have been abused and bent out of shape over the years and I would like to replace them with the heavier gauge metal pieces now available.
I'm considering either Pony and Corral Mustang in Maryland or CJ Ponyparts near Harrisburg PA depending on scheduling issues and cost. I live in Northern Virginia and none of the local shops are interested in working on such an old car as a 65 Mustang. The labor rates are high enough around here I'm wondering if it would be cost effective to have the work done elsewhere and get all the floorpans replaced.
Thanks
