2.3 Turbo into 65

Has anybody ever considered dropping a SVO turbo into a classic 65/66 rather than the old standard SB?
I fell in love with SVO performance when they came out but could not afford one. Since then I have tinkered with idea of dropping an SVO drive train into a '65.
Am I nuts?

There's a first for everything I guess although I suppose it would help with the front to rear weight ratio. You must really want to rankle the purists. :D

Yep, why be normal as they used to say. Remember when hotrods and musclecars were the rage with big cubic inches and glass pack mufflers.
NOW hot rods are Japanese cars with turbos and fart can mufflers and Musclecars...well are muscle cars....but now restomoding a car is almost as popular as a concours restoration used to be because we want to drive the cars we grew up with, not just show them.

I kinda like the look of that little 4 banger in tha engine bay. I'm glad somebody other than me has considered it....I'm a chicken tho.

I did not see that movie. Was it worth watching?
